Prestige R2 was developed for business runners with limited space looking to print between 200 to 300 shirts daily. Compact yet powerful, this desktop printer has everything you need to find a strong footing in the DTF printing market.
A DTF transfer printer should be on the radar for anyone that wants to start a custom t-shirt business. Or expand an existing business in custom tees, caps or wholesale transfers.
That’s because using dtf transfers promises high quality, long lasting custom prints. At a great price, and great profit.
But the things holding back many businesses from bringing on this technology have seemed insurmountable.
The low cost printers are just too slow, too manual and too messy. And larger dtf machines have price tags that are just out of reach.
Direct to Film uses a specific kind of water-based ink to print a film transfer.
The film comes on a roll that is mounted onto the back, just like a roll of vinyl for a vinyl cutter.
After the ink is applied it gets dusted with a powder glue.
Now it is heat cured ready for storage or instant use.
One of the benefits to DTF Printers is there is no need to use pre-treatment like with DTG. The powdered glue does this job for you.
Once you cut the transfer off of the roll, it can be pressed onto a t-shirt in just 15 seconds.
From Machine Tables to Inks, Films to Powders, Delivery, Installation, Training and a 12 month warranty, the DTF Station Prestige R2 Pro & Miro 13 Oven gives you everything you need to get your business going!
You even get your own DTF Station professional “DigiRip” software included that’s colour profiled to work with you Print EXP software, Films, Inks and Powders to return you the best possible Print.

DTG printers print directly onto fabric, not onto transfer material. Each shirt will take between :4 to 5 minutes on average.
The Prestige R2 Pro produces transfers that can be printed in advance, stored and/or shipped for wholesale sale.
DTG printers do best on 100% cotton shirts. You CAN print onto blends and sometimes dark polyester, but it’s a longer, more problematic process.
The Prestige R2 Pro DTF transfers can be applied to cottons, blends, light and dark polyester as well and still look great. In fact, DTG notorious has issues with printing on RED coloured garments because the heat press time and pressure is so extreme the colour around the print changes. Not so with Prestige R2 Pro!
When a t-shirt is printed with DTG, the ink is very wet when it comes out. Heat pressing is the usual way to cure the shirt, and that can take :2/3mins or longer depending on the set up.
A DTF transfer can be applied in just EIGHT – TWELVE seconds! And there’s no “hover” time required.
Sublimation printers contain some of the best features of DTF, but with many similar limitations as in DTG.
A sublimation transfer is inexpensive and can be very high quality, but it’s also very limited to what kind of t-shirt you can apply it to.
One of the most disappointing things for a t-shirt business owner to realize is that there’s a ready-to-purchase customer that visits their store or website, but can’t spend their money.
In the case of a business running on a sublimation printer, that would be because you simply can’t get good quality prints on anything other than a light colored, 100% polyester shirt.
Sublimation has the opposite problem as DTG! But while DTG isn’t effective at polyester, sublimation can’t print well onto cottons.
DTF transfer don’t have those limitations!
