2. World Patented DM Pantograph Design with servo driven motors:
By removing the traditional drive system, belts, pulleys and high speed stepper motors etc, and replacing them with a direct drive for the pantograph, independent presser foot motor drives and many other "special" changes, you can achieve speeds of up to 1,500spm.

3. SWF "Designed" Electronics & Design storage interface:
SWF manufactures all of the electrical systems within their machines and because they are also sewing machine manufacturers they are able to use their extensive knowledge to ensure the best reliability & design. SWF control systems also allow for up to 99 designs memory storage and over 2.5 million stitches, not to mention the fact that we use USB memory where the storage is limitless, thus meaning you can store well in excess of 50 million stitches.

4. SWF Power Loss Backup:
All of the SWF machine range can be switched off at any time and re-started from the last stitch, even if you have a full factory power failure, without losing a single stitch.


5. Design Traces (3 Styles):
Trace in a square, perimeter or use the Gauge trace feature to ensure that you get your design in the correct place prior to embroidering.

6. Tubular Frame Selection:
Now combine the trace feature with Tubular Frame. Select your frame from a menu and then the machine will automatically go to the frame centre. Furthermore the machine will not allow you to use a frame that is smaller than the design itself. Now that's safety...

7. Built in Hoop limits:
We don't just stop there, we added a hoop / frame limit because if you decided to use the tubular frame select and then use the trace feature to position it away from the centre, we wanted our customers to be told by the machine that the design will not fit. This has reduced those service calls due to customers hitting the frames with the needle bars.

8. Colour LCD & Touch Screens with Design Viewing Feature:
See your whole embroidery pattern upfront together with the start point in full colour prior to stitching on a 16cm LCD or a 26cm Touch Screen. This feature has been fully standard across our full range of SWF embroidery machines for over 3 years now, and not an option like some others.

9. World Patented SWF Quick Change Cap Frame:
This Cap Frame was developed 2 years ago and is still the fastest way to change from caps to tubular and back without changing or removing any brackets or arms. Simply remove the tubular embroidery frame and clip in the cap driver, that's as hard as it gets and is well under 10 seconds per head. The sewing area on the cap frame is 360mm wide and up to 7cm high.

10. Fully Enclosed Sewing Hook & Narrow Arm Assembly:

All new SWF machines since the introduction of our E-series machines many years ago are fitted with a full sewing hook cover mechanism as standard to prevent damage to products or injury to an operator. Combine this with a narrow cylinder arm to allow embroidery into those confined areas and you have got the best of all worlds.

11. New DM Series Presser Foot Drive:

Threading couldn't be easier, with our new presser foot driving mechanism. Simply pass the thread through the needle without any interference with any presser foot. Faster, easier and more productive.

12. Most Robust Body & Beam constructed machine without any Beam Supports:

SWF have always had the philosophy of designing machines from the ground upwards, thus providing a superb stability with Zero Vibration, giving you the customer and operator the most superior stitching machine around at all speeds, even when running up to 1,500spm on our DM range. We have the strongest and toughest machine around. Our compact range will also fit through standard doors.

 

13. Upper Needle Thread Clamping System:

Each needle thread on every head is firmly held in place, by a special quick threading flat guide clamp to reduce thread pullouts and false starts. There's not a ceramic thread guide or block trapper or even any use of those horrible magnets to hold the thread in place while not stitching.

14. Direct Drive Thread Cutting System:

All SWF machines have top thread and the bobbin thread trimming system fitted as standard to give a nice clean and precise finish. Combine this with a direct drive system and then there's no need for any independent motors or solenoids on each head.
