genie03Increase sales and traffic to your business using laser technology. The Genie denim marking system allows customers to 'tattoo' their own designs onto denim. Designed for in-store use, customers can add personalised text, graphics and even photographic images to their jeans, jackets or any other denim garment,
in just minutes!! Retailers can offer Genie as a free in-store service to increase unit sales, or charge customers on a per unit basis to mark new or used clothing. The Genie denim marking system is a PC operated system that allows users to create a design up to 8x8" by scanning a black & white image into the Genie software programme, or by importing a bitmap image from a different PC program. Garments are folded and placed on a loading tray, then slid into place for marking. The system utilises a low-power CO2 laser to remove the dye from denim, revealing the users design as he or she watches. The 16" x 23.5" x 27" system fits conveniently onto a tabletop and runs on standard  electrical power. The operating software is included in the system package; retailers supply their own PC && optional scanner.

A Few Frequently Asked Questions

"How does Genie work?"
The Genie consists of a 10W CO2 laser and two scanning mirrors to steer the laser beam to "write" on the fabric. The mark is created by removing the pigment from the denim.

"Does Genie create a permanent mark?"
YES. Washing will not remove the mark as it is a permanent mark made by a laser burning the denim.

"What about safety requirements"
Genie does not require any additional safety precautions. Safety interlocks ensure the laser will not turn until the loading cassette is locked into place. The plexiglas marking window provides ample shielding from the  laser beam
