Your Embroidery Services opened for business February 14th 1995 making us 10 years old in 2005. From the humble beginnings of Roy Burton’s study it has achieved national and international recognition as a major supplier to the international embroidery industry.
The first concept of YES, as it has become affectionately known, was as a consultancy where embroiderers could utilise and share in the knowledge that Roy had built up over his many years in the industry.
It soon became obvious that the trust and respect that people held for Roy was to be best used in the sourcing and refurbishment of used embroidery machines. As this business grew Roy decided to augment it with the production of embroidery patterns or designs and the Design Studio (now known as Studio YES) was born. Following this other products were gradually sourced until YES were offering a wide variety of consumables to their customers. The addition of a high quality embroidery thread from the leading American manufacturers Robison-Anton completed a range that is fully available today.
It was soon established that there was a need to supply new machinery as well as the refurbished ones YES were well know for. During years of research Roy had discovered the company Hankuk Special Precision Co Ltd who were busy developing embroidery machines for Europe following their unprecedented success in the Asian bowl markets. The machines, under the name SWF were in fact developed with much input from Roy something the Korean company welcomed knowing, as they did, Roy's reputation.
In what is a short European history the SWF machine has become a market leader with YES supplying the sort of support and backup needed and welcomed by most customers.
